Rene is a solo female traveler and writer based in the USA. She writes about:

From Rene: I started writing solo female traveler stories about my experiences when I realized they inspired others. I believe travel is one of the most enriching things we can do, and I want to ignite more sparks⚡️

Based in Michigan, I’m a journalist and digital marketer working remotely.

Many stories here come from when I spent as a solo female nomad on a road trip in the United States, Mexico and Canada where I stayed in short-term rentals by the month and visited 25+ national parks and dozens of great historic locations.

As a solo female traveler, my interests include nature, photography, literature, art & architecture, and the outdoors.
